On July 26, 2025, the 2025 (16th) Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Conference of the Iron and Steel Industry, hosted by the Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute, was successfully held in Beijing. With the theme of "Deepening the Coordination of Pollution Reduction and Carbon Emission Reduction, Cultivating the Foundation of Green Development", this conference gathered industry leaders, experts and enterprise representatives to jointly explore the green and low-carbon development path of the iron and steel industry. Hualv Environmental Protection participated in the conference throughout the learning process and had in-depth communication with experts and enterprise leaders on innovative technologies for energy conservation and emission reduction in the iron and steel industry.

Cai Jun, Director of the Industry Division of the Department of Atmospheric Environment of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and Xiao Bangguo, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute, attended the conference. The leaders had in-depth exchanges on issues such as pollution reduction and carbon emission reduction policies, technological innovation, and green transformation in the iron and steel industry, providing policy guidance and technical directions for the high-quality development of the industry.
